This painting is part of a series of Bulls that I am doing for my next Exhibiton in Arles for the "Feria 2013". These black bulls (although this one is blue!) are raised in the South of France in the Camargue and are used for the 'Courses Camarguaises' which is not to be confused with bull fighting as they are not killed. They roam freely alongside the wild Camargue horses and other wonderful wildlife.
