This painting is in thick layers to create texture. I wanted the backdrop to be gigantesque so that the horse would look more imposing. I have used strong colours of red, yellow, orange, ocre, green and white. I use lavendar oil to mix my colours and to give a slight glisten to the picture.The size of this work is 32"X39".
