FIERY RED,Original Oil Painting by Rosemary Bonnin
This painting is in thick layers to create texture. I wanted the backdrop to
be gigantesque so that the horse would look more imposing. I have used
strong colours of red, yellow, orange, ocre, green and
white. I use lavendar oil to mix my colours and to give a slight
glisten to the picture. The size of this work is 32"X39". If you are interested in this painting , please contact me at artbonnin@msn.com .

ANGELS OF CAMARGUE,Original Oil Painting by Rosemary Bonnin
In the South of France where the river Rhone meets the Mediterranean Sea is the Delta of the Camargue where you find these wild horses roaming in total freedom against a backdrop of some of the most beautiful unspoilt landscapes in the world. The ‘Angels of Camargue’ is an oil painting. I paint using lavendar oil medium to mix my colours but sometimes I apply the paint straight from the tube .I like a thick layer of paint on my canvas and will often go over areas and then scrape bits off to create more texture.
The size of this art work is 29"X 39". If you are

PRINCE, Original Oil Painting by Rosemary Bonnin
Prince is a stallion from the Camargue. On the 1st of May in Arles you can see the ‘Gaurdian’ cowboys galloping through the Boulevard des Lices on horseback to celebrate ‘la fête du travail’ where everyone in France enjoys a public holiday. It is a day of colour and joyful celebration where the whole town meets up in the arena to enjoy pipe dancing and the famous ‘Course à la cocarde’. This oil painting has deep tones of blue, red and green in the background, moving to lighter colours of orange, gold and ocre in the foreground. Prince stands proudly in his beautifully groomed coat of brillant white and long golden mane.
